Project description
This research focuses on how requirements for evidence limit Indigenous peoples’ access to, and representation of knowledge in, human rights courts, and how the evidence regime in place does, can and should accommodate different knowledge systems and transmission formats, including those from Indigenous peoples. Nina has been performing fieldwork in Ecuador focusing on two Inter-American Court of Human Rights cases.
