Project description
The project explores to what extent and how people are (dis)empowered through their everyday use of social media considering issues of inclusion, media literacy and privacy. Literacy is approached from a cultural-educational perspective. Through ethnographic data collection and rhetorical analysis an assessment is made of how informal learning environments are created through social media with a major focus on digital literacies.
