This conference will be the first one of its kind, being exclusively dedicated to Artemia pond production. This technology is the subject of a number of ongoing scientific and developmental initiatives worldwide, enabled by the fact that the technology is increasingly science-driven (in contrast with the empirical approach of the past). These developments urge for this meeting as a first platform of cross-fertilization of ideas and expertise.
