Project description
The aim of this PhD research is to study the relationships between
urbanisation processes the four urban areas in the Tigray region, the land
use/land cover changes and changes in gully systems since the 20the century
and the impact of the communities’ rural livelihood. It will use remote
sensing data and techniques, field surveys, participatory GIS and statistical
analysis.
