Project description
Compared to domestic-owned firms, foreign-owned firms may be different when they perform R&D activities as they have access to cutting-edge knowledge from their home countries. Therefore, this research focuses on the effects of foreign ownership on R&D activities, including the effectiveness of R&D cooperation, geographic proximity and organizational proximity of R&D cooperation, R&D connection with local partners and firm growth.
