Project description

This project envisages the fundamental study and development of plasma-treated porous titanium scaffolds for the treatment of critical bone defects. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, this proposal has the intention to investigate the efficiency of plasma technology in depositing several cell-interactive coatings on Ti in order to overcome the limitations of the present Ti implants.
