Project description

In this research, a system is developed to determine spread patterns of fertilizer spreaders. Image processing (3D stereovision) is used to determine parameters of ejected fertilizer particles. By using this information in a ballistic model, individual landing positions of particles can be predicted and the spread pattern can be determined in three spatial dimensions in an accurate, labor-extensive and efficient way.
