Damage by native stink bugs in fruit agriculture in Flanders and the threat of the Asian brown marmorated stink bug have an important economic impact on fruit production in Belgium. This doctoral research investigates biological control methods including natural enemies, trapping methods and food source preferences of harmful stink bugs by performing field work, laboratory experiments and molecular research.
