Project description

This research project focusses on the emergence of modular ordering within the co-evolutionary development of processes of dispersed urbanization over a long period of time. Through case research of dispersed urbanization in Flanders the determining character of modular ordering towards pathdependency is studied and opportunities for pathcreation towards a more sustainable mode of urbanization will be identified.
