GluCAREl.1 in both R & D and business development tasks planned to further develop the knowledge and intellectual property of Ghent University on silicon-based miniature spectrometers. GluCAREl.1 belongs to the bigger, comprising incubation GLuCARE funded by IOF (GluCAREl.0) and IWT (GluCARE1.1). GluCARE aims To establish, in-vitro validation and valorisation of a new continuous glucose meter (CGM), which can measure physiological glucose concentration of between 3 and 20 mM with an accuracy of 0.5 mM and for 6 months. The developed technology will then be commercialized by a spin-off company.
