An ERC fellow acquires personnel funding to employ a lecturer to take over part of the ERC fellow's teaching rresponsibilities. The resulting reduction in teaching tasks allows ERC fellows to devote their time entirely to the ERC-funded research project. The salary costs of this lecturer will be charged to the Special Research Fund.
