Project description

Microorganisms are extensively genetically modified in order to produce useful compounds they do not produce by nature and these are in general assembled inside the cell.
However, often problems are encountered regarding product toxicity and limited export. We will develop a vehicle-cargo system offering solutions here; a re-usable vehicle helps the cargo (molecule of interest) to reach the outside space.
