Late-Glacial and Holocene climate changes will be reconstructed based on a multiproxy sedimentological, geophysical, biogeochemical, paleontological and isotopic analysis of a series of long sediment cores that will be retrieved from lakes along a transect through South Chile (Siete Lagos region in the North, the region of Coyhaique in the Centre, lakes near Punta Arenas in the South).
