Project description
From the sociocultural model it is known that adoption of the beauty ideal makes girls vulnerable for Sociocultural pressure. Starting from selfdeterminationtheory we'll investigate whether the adverse effects are mainly due to pressure, the goal of attractiveness or both in a cross-sectional, longitudinal, and experimental study with youngsters aged 12 to 16 years.
