Project description

This research aims at the development of a numerical model that allows studying both the initial condition and the by mechanobiological processes (developing stenosis, thrombotic reactions, …) modified conditions after vascular interventions. Such a model is of major importance to optimize current endovascular procedures and medical devices (e.g. bypass implantation, prevention of aneurysm rupture, stentimplantation, …)
