Project description

We aim at identifying and evalutating of the relation between the microstructural properties and macroscopic magnetic behaviour of ferromagnetic materials by experimentally and mathematically validated micromagnetic models. We develop innovative non destructive evaluation techniques for identifying microstructural parameters which are difficult to be measured directly, using inverse numerical methods, starting from the macroscopic magnetic material behaviour.
