Project description
This project investigates finite semifields and their links to tensors. New geometrical invariants, new bounds on the number of isotopy classes of finite semifields, and new ways of constructing finite semifields are investigated. Concrete research topics include the classification of small finite semifields, the study of rank problems for 3-tensors, and the study of 4-tensors.
