Project description

This project aims to improve our knowledge on the post-Middle Pleistocene spatial and temporal MOW variability, outside its source area. High-resolution sediment archives, located along the northern and southern MOW pathway, will be investigated, focussing on selected glacial to interglacial intervals and transitions. This project will advance the comprehension of MOW palaeoceanography, as well as its impact on deep-water ecosystems.
