Project description

Biotic interactions play a major role in biological communities and were intensively studied on rocky shores. The intertidal community on sandy beaches, was - until recently - though to be physically controlled. The aim of this project is to investigate the importance of biotic interactions in the Eurydice pulchra-Scolelepis squamata sandy beach community, the macrobenthoscommunity on the upper part of the intertidal range of Belgian sandy beaches.
