Project description
The investigation deals with the control, fault detection analysis, and reconfiguration after fault detection for an electric variable transmission (EVT). This type of electromechanical converter serves as a power split device between power flow coming from an internal combustion engine (ICE) and electrical power flow exchanged with the battery. It replaces the clutch, the gear box, starter motor and generator in a conventional vehicle.
