Project description

At present little is known about protein carbohydrate interactions occurring in the plant cell, and the implications thereof on the development and protection of plants. Our research will concentrate on three topics related to (1) physiological role of nucleocytoplasmic lectins, (2) study of protein carbohydrate recognition processes in plant insect interactions,(3) glycobiology of plants and insects.
