The present proposal aims to drastically reduce the use of chemical insecticides and provide more intelligent and more sustainable solutions (i.e., use of the parasitoid Telenomus podisi and silencing specific genes of E. heros – via RNAi) to an important agricultural and economic problem in Brazil, which are Euschistus heros stinkbugs on the Brazilian soybean fields.
