Project description

Contemporary architecture exhibitions might contain solutions to challenges in preserving the built environment. Architects and curators increasingly experiment with alternative materializations of architecture in life-size models, with displaced time-worn building fragments, and with temporary interventions into sites and buildings. This research project investigates what approaches and strategies can be learned from these experimental practices to face contemporary problems in preservation.
