Project description

The objective of the poject is to establish an accurate and precise chronology for the most important loess-palaeosol sequences in Romania. To achieve this, modern and innovative luminescence dating methods are developed and applied to feldspar. The results contribute to an improved understanding of the importance of atmospheric dust both as a record and a potential agent of climate change.
