Project description

the role of the cysteine protease caspase-12 in the regulation of inflammasome activation and other immune responses will be analyzed making use of a newly generated line of casepase-12-defictient mice. the role of this caspaseduring LPS-induced endotoxemia and salmonella infection will also be investigated in vivo.
