Project description

Numereous practical aspects prevent the assessment of the robustness of existing concrete structures as well as the objective comparison of robustness increasing measures with respect to FRP strengthening. This research focuses on developing a full-probabilistic framework for the structural reliability quantification of FRP strengthened structures, a practically applicable robustness assessment framework considering stress-redistribution and the development of practical design guidelines.
