Project description

the hydrophobic and heat dissipating characteristics of synthetic diamond make it an interesting material for use as packing material in liquid chromatogrphy and in electrochromatography. It allows the manufacturing of long columns packed with smaller particles which can be operated at higher pressures. the material is also evaluated in electrochromatography where the more efficient dissiepation of Joule heating is exploited.
