Project description
The CYP78A enzymes are conserved among landplants and play key roles in plant growth and drought tolerance. Identification of the CYP78A-catalysed reaction and unravelling their regulation, will lead to new biostimulants and breeding targets enhancing crop yield-increase and drought tolerance. Through use of metabolomics, interactomics and multiplex CRISPR, substrate-product couples and regulators were identified.
