Project description

The objectives are a decrease of the fuel consumption, a decrease of the noxious exhaust gas emissions and an increase of the reliability of the engines for the transport sector. Those objectives can be obtrained by a maintenance stratgey. The procedures for this maintenance strategy, and taking into account the local circumstances, have to be set up (from a profound knowledge of the new engine technologies: multipoint injection systems and motor management systems).
