Project description
The research aims to select (not fit for transport), catch, and load broiler chickens and laying hens in a more animal friendly way. Hereby a comparison is made between upright, conventional, and mechanical (broiler) catching in terms of labor (US), production losses, animal welfare, and social acceptance.
