Project description

Patients with psoriasis exhibit increased rates of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), while patients suffering from IBD are also at increased risk of psoriasis. However, the link between psoriasis and IBD is currently far from clear. In the present proposal we aim to study the role of CARD14, an intracellular signaling protein for which mutations have recently been associated with psoriasis.
