Project description

- accurate assessment of risk of rupture of AA and dissected aorta via integrated, patient-specific analysis of biological (molecular imaging) and biomechanical actors- simulation-based pre-operative treatment planning- fundamental research on the (molecular) biological and biomechanical key players and their interaction in the development of AA/dissection- improved patient-specific design of prostheses and search for new and/or modified materials
