Project description
Cross-sectional surveys do not allow to explain age differences in cultural participation by the process of growing older on the one hand and by generation on the other. Using a longitudinal design in which data from successive volumes of the Survey on Socio-Cultural Shifts are used age and cohort effects are disentagled for ten cultural activities.
