Project description

The CARTAGENA project aims to develop a highly innovative platform and associated assays for complex screenings of single cells. Initial assay development will focus on encapsulation of cells in nanoliter-sized droplets, their manipulation and visualization, and the use of this technology to study tumor-lytic properties of individual CAR-T cells.  Subsequent assay development will focus on development of droplet-based assays to additionally assess secretome and phenotype. Ultimately, the platform will enable multi-parametric assessment of single cells with unprecedented high throughput.
