The main purpose of this project is to increase seed yield of oilseed rape. In a first step, genes involved in the biomass production and/or seed yield in the model species Arabidopsis will be identified. These genes will then be transferred to an economically intersting crop, such as oilseed rape, to verify their effects on seed yield.
