Project description

Liquid crystals, solar cells and displays are electro-optical components in which light propagation is essential. Traditionally these components are described with 1-dimensional simulations because the lateral dimensions are much larger than the wavelength of light. The aim of this project is to develop, in collaboration between different groups, the expertise for the realization, simulation and characterization of light scattering at nanostructured electro-optic components..
