Project description

Although many drugs already target membrane proteins, these often exhibit low affinity for the target protein, requiring them to be administered in high doses administered; or they are not selective enough, which can lead to severe side effects. 
To improve these drugs or identify new molecules, we need to we more than likely perform structure-based drug optimisation. For this, however, we need many more three-dimensional structures of membrane proteins
