Project description
 

Constrastive and corpus-based research on Portuguese and Spanish infinitival constructions with specified, nominative subjects in adverbial clauses. Factors as the degree of authonomy of the subordinate clause, thematic coherence and the degree of verbality of the infinitive and propostionality of the subordinate clause receive special attention in a functional linguistic framework.
