Project description
Spatial scaling of soil moisture and rainfall is going to be investigated through different types of remote sensing products. Therefore, statistical and fractal properties will be analysed. An important aspect of the research will exist in assessing the uncertainty upon these scaling properties and the impact of this uncertainty upon hydrologic model predictions when scaled infromation is used.
