Project description

The first aim is to gain better insight in the pathophysiological processes of trapezius myalgia using a combination of microdialysis samples AND muscle biopsies in 25 patients with trapezius myalgia and 25 healthy subjects. The second aim is to more understand the effects of dry needling. Both acute and long term effects will be evaluated using a similar measurement protocol.
