Project description

Bt cotton is a gmo that consitutes most of cotton cultivation in India. This study wants to analyse the biosafety and regulatory system in India and makes a socio-economics comparison of Bt-cotton for farmers that use irrigation or not. Purthermore the effect of cotton expansion on cultivation of food crops will be analysed.
