Project description

This project aims in modeling elementary reactions, which contribute to the formation of conjugated polymers. The latter ones, have a variety of interesting applications and have proven their potential for the formation of functionalized anostructured materials. The elementary reaction steps contributing to the polymerization process are not well defined yet. Within this project it will be investigated whether the polymerization occurs via a radical or anionic route.
