Project description
In distinguishing cognitive control from other functions of the brain, it is often pitted against more automatic forms of learning. This way, cognitive control and learning are often portrayed as opposite forces in driving our behavior. However, the current project investigates to which extent the handling and implementation of different tasks (task control) adheres to similar properties as associative learning.
