Project description

This research studies the use of switching power converters for the parameter identification of synchronous machines. To drive a synchronous machine, a controller switching converter is often used. The parameter identification is used to optimize online the control of the synchronous machine for the purpose of obtaining a more energy efficient drive and to enhance the drives dynamic behaviour.
