Dit project zal nieuwe gnotobiotische model systemen gebruiken voor een diepgaande studie van de mechanismen van de interactie tussen gastheer en micro-organismen. Deze modellen zullen gebruikt worden om het aangeboren immune systeem te bestuderen en meer in het bijzonder de mogelijkheid om het immune systeem van aquatische larven te primen
