The goal of this project is the evaluation of chiral N-tert-butanesulfinyl imidates as novel nucleophiles in addition reactions with a range of aldehydes, ketones and imines, in Michael additions and Michael-induced ring closure reactions (MIRC) with electrophilic alkenes, in the synthesis of a variety of biologically important chiral heterocycles and -, -, -, ,-di-, ,-di- and ,,-triamino acids.
