Project description
Quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is a Yang-Mills gauge theory that describes the strong color interaction. At high energies, the coupling constant is small due to the asymptotic freedom, hence perturbation theory applies. At lower energies, non-perturbative effects can enter the game, eg vacuum condensates. The proposed research plans to investigate gauge invariant vacuum condensates by means of analytical tools.
