Project description
Programmable photonics provide a new paradigm for implementing optical functions: light paths can be dynamically programmed at run-time, instead of being fixed during the chip design. This requires new configuration and control algorithms, especially when it comes to the implementation of wavelength filters. In this work, new algorithms are developed, matched to simulations, and verified on programmable photonic hardware.
