Project description
This project investigates the mechanical properties of ITER plasma-facing materials under neutron irradiation to determine the divertor's lifetime. Objectives include development of the testing methodology for ITER divertor monoblock, assessing the degradation of tensile properties and hardness before and after the neutron irradiation, analyzing microstructural changes via TEM and SEM-EBSD, and incorporating experimental data into FEM models.
