Project description
Clathrin-mediated endocytosis internalizes plasma membrane proteins to react to various stimuli. In
plants, the TPLATE complex plays a crucial role in this, but how this complex orchestrates endocytosis
is unknown. This project aims to optimize the purification of the TPLATE complex and to elucidate its
ultrastructure. This will allow us to gain insight into how it functions.
